The pair will join Simon Pagenaud, Joe Sahlen, Joe Nonnamaker, Will and Wayne Nonnamaker Nonnamaker Ohio-based debut in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype ranks, running a few BMW-powered Rileys.
Junqueira and Drissi comes from a strong run in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron, win at Mosport Park. Junqueira was third place in the championship driver Prototype Challenge.
Junqueira won seven races and won 10 poles in most racing cars, finishing second in the championship three times between 2002 and 2004. He won the pole for the Indianapolis 2002 500, and finished fifth in the 2001 classic (with Chip Ganassi Racing) and 2004 (Newman / Haas Racing).
