Oliver Gavin Spirit of Daytona Rolex 24 Crew

Spirit of Daytona Racing has confirmed that the four men of their driver lineup for the Rolex Watches 51 next month 24 at Daytona (January 26-27), Oliver Gavin complete the outfit.

Gavin will be joined by Antonio Garcia, Richard Westbrook and Ricky Taylor is the Chevrolet Corvette Daytona Prototype team in the race.

"I am excited to be back with the team for the Rolex Replica 24 SDR," said Gavin. "I'm also looking forward to spending time with Ricky Taylor in the same team."

"Olly is part of the family spirit Daytona," said team owner Troy Flis Gavin who led the team in both Daytona and in six the Sahlen their schedules Glen last season. "He has experience in the Corvette DP and equipment. Could not be happier with our full line driver and I am very excited to take our momentum from 2012 into the 2013 season"

SDR won three times in the 2012 season, Westbrook and then twice with his regular co-driver driving duties shared Garcia. However, for the new season Ricky Taylor replaces Spanish as a normal driver, Westbrook keep his place in the team.

"Oliver Gavin is a highly experienced pilot who look forward to working with," said Taylor. "The Rolex 24 event is now an important race for all teams every advantage is important. Leading Oliver, Anthony and Richard is a bonus."

The new quartet will be tested together for the first time in the 'Roar Before the 24' day test at Daytona International Speedway on January 4-6.
